For 70 years, the Philharmonic Society’s Youth Music Education Programs have inspired and transformed the lives of more than 6 million students across Orange County through enriching programming and a diverse array of opportunities.
The Philharmonic Society offers ten different youth programs, free of charge to local schools, which provide unique experiences that are essential for building a foundation of appreciation and an enthusiasm for music that can last a lifetime.
As the education and classroom landscape has changed over the past seven decades, so too have the Philharmonic Society’s Youth Music Education Programs. Programs now integrate digital and in-person components, and a stronger focus is placed on tailoring content to reflect the needs and voices of the surrounding community.
The dedicated members of the Society’s principal fundraising and volunteer force, the Committees of the Philharmonic Society, work tirelessly to ensure that an extraordinary array of music education programs continues to be made available to students.
