Vienna Boys Choir
Holiday Concert
For six centuries, the illustrious Vienna Boys Choir has captivated music lovers worldwide with their pure tone, distinctive charm, and beloved repertoire. Following a sold-out performance in 2022, they return to fill the halls once again with their angelic voices.
Founded in 1498 by the imperial decree of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, the Vienna Boys Choir is one of the oldest musical organizations in the world. Over the centuries, renowned composers such as Mozart, Bruckner, Gluck, and Schubert have written masterpieces for the choir. Many great musicians, including conductors Hans Richter, Clemens Krauss, and Lovro von Matacic, began their careers as members of the Vienna Boys Choir.
